Good 6.5" sub?

Recommended Posts

just looking at possibly buying a 6.5" sub to mock up designs with easily and experiment with stuff.

i haven't looked around a ton but looking for something pretty cheap and a low fs, basically as close to 30hz fs as you can get. (not sure if there is any)

anyone have some good suggestions on what/where to look?

any comments or anything is much appreciated!

I think you have a bit of truck stuck in your mud bro

Pete from PWK Designs was using a 6.5" in a T-Line enclosure, I'm not sure who makes it but it fooled people into thinking it was two twelve's.

its a

Hybrid Audio Imagine I6SW

i've actually been watching all his videos lately haha it's inspired me to try to do some testing and stuff on my own. and yeah i don't have the money for that sub lol

Check Dayton or Tang Band from Parts Express.

looks like the TB W6-1139 might be a good fit for what im looking and not too bad on the price either. i mean an fs of 35hz for a 6.5" sub lol that's pretty good

My Experiments with the I6SW - Cheap it ani't worth it, it is!!

On the strenght of PWK's 'Just Imagine Video' i've worked with the Hybrid Audio I6SW sub.

My First Build For the Hybrid Audio I6SW subwoofer - 1.75" line terminus - hit really loud

PWK is right, the I6SW doesn't seal very well, so i fabricated a rubber gasket (below)
