My roommate has a buddy at work that completely gutted his car and asked if he wanted it, so he brought it home. I've really got no idea what exactly it is/does, except for the fact that it's a $230 piece of gear. Does anyone have any info on it and what type of setup/system would it be beneficial to run it with? I mean I've got the DD-1 so I can monitor if it affects the clip/distortion point, but I need to get my hands on an o-scope and watch what it actually does. Might just throw it in when the rain stops and start messing with the settings very conservatively. Went ahead and hooked it up tho my home system and it powered up, none of the other lights lit up except for the power light. Used my phone as the input source and the output went to the amp, played a 40hz test tone and none of the lights still lit up. Adjusted the gain knob on it and the sub sounded more distorted (shitty sub anyway), but I'm eager to see what this will actually do in the car. Just unsure about what the two adjustment knobs actually do.
