pstone11 Posted May 27, 2013 Author Report Posted May 27, 2013 Spent all day getting the "new" wiring in the back to open and close.... it does now and I'm happy with it. Now to rebuild the fuse blocks...again..... Check out StoneSounds to see my recent builds.Or look at the Flying White Facebook Page!
pstone11 Posted May 29, 2013 Author Report Posted May 29, 2013 OK, the new wiring is finally good to go - The amp rack opens and closes really nice. Wired up a set of relays with a PAC to let the amp rack open/stop/close with the aux button of the alarm. Figured out how to anchor both the top and bottom sets of power wires to let them swivel and also maintain their positions. The bottom took a little more effort and a large set of "terminal boards' to enable them to make the corner under the amp rack and up to where the fuses will be.. pstone11 Posted May 29, 2013 Author Report Posted May 29, 2013 Got the rest of the powdercoat back today as well. I didn't want to go too overboard on the stormtrooper style black and white - there was just waaaaaay too much nasty flaking chrome accents on this thing when it showed up. I took some parts in and it looks just right now. Everything that went in was chrome - it all came out black and white... Side vents, rear tow rings, and hood vent and trim, and the wheels. slc123 Posted May 29, 2013 Report Posted May 29, 2013 Yeah can't wait till mine grows up to be his size! Looking jaw dropping as usual man! Thought that was pretty smart to add a grease cert to those hinges, makes alot of sence! Not alot of people would have incorperated that into the design just thought I would give you some deserved props on that! My 03' sierra crew cab Here build in progress
