420c Posted August 31, 2013 Report Posted August 31, 2013 you gotta put this build up for an uninterrupted build log. Then at least a minimum of 20 demo vids in the next 4 months or you gotta sell it and never speak of it again!
420c Posted August 31, 2013 Report Posted August 31, 2013 in all seriousness this is a damn nice build that reminds me of the build ray did and trippi's first go round with the 420.2798333 RF amps but not to make this a vs cause this thing is on its own level congrats.
basebalz13 Posted September 1, 2013 Report Posted September 1, 2013 Not tryna step on your toe's but do you worry any about you connecting the frame to the body like that with the amp rack? Seeing as Im sure he plans on driving it and the frame and body react independently, all though not much but enough to potentially cause a problem. If the body was to try and flex from the frame it cant and could bend where the mount is and put the whole rear in a bind and not be able to open his hatch door. Well, the rubber body mounts have a ton or more weight on them which pretty much removes them from the equation. I do not see them flexing to the point where it will shift a 3" square tube with a 1/8" wall that is bolted to the frame and also the body with 1/8" steel plates. Maybe if he jumps it off of a looptie-loop ramp while it's a full moon at high tide? Check out StoneSounds to see my recent builds.Or look at the Flying White Facebook Page!
