Even if you are wired below 1 ohm and you don't have much rise.. The amps protection circuit should in theory stop anything from happening to it. Well.. In a perfect world anyways.

Saw this in person at Modified Nationals over the weekend. Felt so bad for the owner but he borrowed a 3.5k for Sunday which was enough to get a teaser! Subs were only moving about 10mm but was already dropping with some authority
