CleanSierra Posted May 20, 2013 Report Posted May 20, 2013 Hey guys, so I got a roll pan about a month ago and installed it the same day. I knew I was going to class it into the truck. This was a quick job so far because I want to make sure it's going to hold up before I keep doing the body work. I know we have all seem, possibly some have have, rollpans that were molded into the truck and seamless, but this is my first pan I've ever done. It looks good since my truck is a stepside. Anyway, enough chit chat, pics: Again guys, press excuse the crude photos, Im no where near done with body work, there is plenty more sanding and filling, this is just what I have so far. Also, if any of you remember, I was hit in a McDonald's parking lot a while back. I never replaced my bed side, but rather fiberglassed it too and it came out tits Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.

CleanSierra Posted May 21, 2013 Author Report Posted May 21, 2013 It wasn't a dent, my bed is a stepside so it's like a hard plastic. It shattered basically where the dumb bitch hit me. So I Glassed behind the damage and sanded the seams smooth. Im now using body and feathering it out so you NEVER knew it was there. I've also glassed the pan into the bed along with bolting it to the truck to make sure she is static. Im really enjoying the art of bodywork and creating the illusion Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.

Like I said though, this is a work in progress, and I'll be working on it here and there. The lighting idea is great, maybe I'll try something like that on the front grille too with some really BRILLIANT white lights or a clean blueish white. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Even just red if other colors are illegal Also, I'd like to see pics of more of the truck when you're done or close to it I'd like to get the truck repainted completely(or repaint it myself, just gotta hook up the 80 gallon compressor). I've taken as great of care of the paint as I can, but she is 10 years old and it's time to freshen up, plus door funds and scratches need fixed. boom50cal Posted May 21, 2013 Report Posted May 21, 2013 I was thinking white would look SICK as hell under it. You might get in trouble for blue though, lol. I have a buddy with a slammed 97 SCLB murdered out 1 ton Dually Cummins, and he has white LED accents all over the place, along with HALO front lights and rear lights similar to yours. The front LED bar goes from one side to the other, and he has another in the rear like yours that does the same. Not trying to threadjack, just a possible suggestion.
