Alas the maserati is no more, somebody was on the wrong side of the road because it curves hard left and everyone cuts that corner to make the turn easier but I came round the other way and it was raining and late at night (this was 2 years ago now I think) and when I pulled to the right to avoid a head on collision the front passenger tire went up and over the curb, wasn't super fast but the curb is considerably high and the maserati sits so low it cracked the radiator and destroyed the passenger suspension components, woulda have been $18k in repair so they just totaled it since that's only $5k away from what she paid for it.

Of course our friend the dumbass on the wrong side of the road didn't wait around so I could get his insurance info and despite being in the perfect car...it was in no condition to chase him down, sadly. I know he knew because he slammed on his brakes, realized what happened, and took off like a lil bitch.

Can't complain much, I was glad to be alive, the curb is there to keep people from tumbling down a fairly steep cliff, had it not been raining I would of been at twice my speed and I probably woulda been up and over entirely.
