Just ordered some new switches should be here this week I think? but anyhow back to work on the box Funny how the people who have a louder system than you will usually give you a compliment about your setup because they know how much blood, sweat, time, and money you put into it. goodvibez Posted July 15, 2014 Report Posted July 15, 2014 alright so got a little more daring and turned it up to vol. 24...and still sounds good... I thought before it would sound over powered but it still sounds clean! Activated my new phone (galaxy s4) its new, not the newest model. Didn't feel like getting the S5 just because there isnt much difference...point being is playing through bluetooth it was waaay better, louder at lower volume levels...very pleased! also the baffle is officially glued and screwed broke my drill bit on the very last hole and ran out of screws so I cant do the second layer on till tomorrow, then I'll start the 3rd layer/ countersunk subs Funny how the people who have a louder system than you will usually give you a compliment about your setup because they know how much blood, sweat, time, and money you put into it. Love me some 8's I don't mind it at all really, going to use a roundover along the side of the box just so I dont jump in the truck and slam my funny bone on a corner...ouch! I have captain chairs that I bought for this truck, just because they have fold down armrests so I have something soft to rest my arm on, and so my passenger doesnt throw an elbow into my sub lol! Alo with thrmrest down the top of the box is a little higher than my arm when its resting on the armrest. its nice because my arm has something to rest against...kinda like the armrests for the doors...feel me? don't know how you drove 7 months without music, didn't drive my car at all today because I didn't have any speakers at all in it. I helped them all install their systems haha, half of their gear was once mine. That is soon to change! Hell yeah man I hope this thing is demo worthy! Was going to wish you a happy b-day yesterday on fb buuuut... usually you get plenty as it is from tons of people you never talk to lol yeah looking forward to seeing the new whip fo sho! My truck might have a leveling kit in front I'm not sure he may have just cranked the torsion bars a little but it looks like the stock keys in front...I just took out the rear helper springs in back so now the rear sits slightly lower but will go back up since I have airbags to replace them hehehe! and 2" blocks...if it turns out there arent new keys in front I'll be putting a leveling kit in the front...running 285's on 18's for tires..I like them, look pretty good and still funtional no rubbing and dont stick out ridiculously.
