That mirror is pretty much painted on and word to the wise DO NOT USE TAPE WHILE CUTTING THIS PLEXI! if you cut into the tape then when you remove the tape it will peel it off...it sucks...I got lucy and you cant see any of it. Was just going to do the ones you can see but ended up doing them all Just drilling and tapping away! So just wanting opinions...washers or no washers...I like them both..no washers is cleaner but the washers actually diperse the pressure on the plexi better so I'm probably going to use them...not to mention the holes can be slightly off and it doesnt have to be such a snug fit. More tomorrow hopefully! Funny how the people who have a louder system than you will usually give you a compliment about your setup because they know how much blood, sweat, time, and money you put into it. The people who criticize or try and one up you....have a p.o.s to no system at all and will tell you all about this "other" guys system! Saddley I'm sure if I meet this "other" guy...he will probably tell me he thinks your just as annoying as I think you are! I'm not compensating, just proud of fabricating! goodvibez Posted October 7, 2014 Report Posted October 7, 2014 I think washers it is...so I did install the amps today and tuned them by ear gain on the low side but honestly even with gain at a quarter these are plenty loud! And the crossovers do great! Was easy to tune and I'm happy with my purchase...needed these in for my trip to Phoenix this weekend so the covers I made aren't on they are just mounted normal for now till I get a good weekend to make a nice amp rack and can invert them...Just Thought I would give my review of them so far Funny how the people who have a louder system than you will usually give you a compliment about your setup because they know how much blood, sweat, time, and money you put into it. Couldnt be happier to have the speakers playing Sounds just as good as running them with my old processor...might have more options with it but for my liking it works great!
