pintich
Hmm i notice more... its not only in music. when i press "pause" its still that nice... and if i turn down the volume lower like to 5 or 0 its still that noise. and i hadde the gain only only 5% this time... so it could not have been distortion this time. i located the sound, and it comes from the Highs (what i can tell) Any chance on making a video of the system making the noise so we can get a better idea on what the sound may be. Yes i could try to get it on video, but then i need to make some space in the phone first

DubNDodge
I know what you are talking about. Like if the volume is on, and the track is playing and the song doesn't have anyone singing/no instruments playing I have a slight noise that can be heard only when I am parked. I can't hear it at all if I am driving. I just figured everyone had that in their system, except for the SQ guys. It's hard to describe the sound, it's not alternator whine. Sort of sounds like pink noise, but at a very very low volume. Set them properly and check back with us. i dont think its the gain, becuse i have the gain on 5-10% right now and still have the same noise :/

For all you know, its 30% lol. Anyway, no matter how low you "think" it is, It can still be up too high. If you have enough input voltage, you might need your gain set all the way down, or close. what is in front of the amp? what kind of deck? any processors? break down the system for us and maybe we can help you more.
