The Tweeters on the Dash and Running the power wire will be THE biggest PITA!!!

I hear ya, I saw the pics you posted. I was planning on running power under car this time instead of thru the firewall and under carpet.

The alt location looks like a bitch to get to...will you need to get it on a lift?

At first I was going to run under and do a Spare tire well amp rack but I was looking around online and researched that Its more reliable and safe to run them on the inside so I just took that approach... just gotta be persistent and willing to disconnect things you never know what it runs to LOL! and Also the Alternator location your refering to is the 3.5... I have the 2.5 and it sits on the top left side of my engine under the engine cover! SUPER convient lol

Good for you! My alt is buried! Do you have the spare tire organizer tray in your trunk? Mine came with it, and after looking at it, it gave me some ideas to do a hinged compartment (like the floor you made, but cut so it can be hinged and fold up to reach the spare tire) This would also allow access to an amp rack. I was thinking of modifying the organizer or making a fiberglass mold of it and then building it.

Can't wait to see what you do next. Oh, BTW, I haven't purchased a sub yet, but I designed around a single DC Level 2 12". I'm trying to win one through the DC Audio T-shirt contest. I have 2 designs in the poll, #1 and #3. If you haven't voted yet, do me a solid and vote for #3 !!!! Woot!

Yes, You have the v6 though so despite the alternator location, you have the badass alti lol I got the slow 4 banger, but ima keep her clean though *mike epps tone* haha . And I don't have the organizer but at the corner of my trunk, I have a little compartment that holds the jack but it doesn't have any channel that leads to the spare tire well... but it sounds like you have good plans! Just let me know when you start, I'll be tuned in!! And I'll check out the shirt contest for ya!!!

Alright Guys Time for some UPDATES!!!! First and foremost I am Completely happy with the way things turned out.... There are a couple Cosmetic things that I will have to do to touch it up, but for the most part the box came out VERY nice! Pics are uploading now so Tune in fellas!

Alright So I had to do my paint process a little different... I color matched the port to my factory color so first thing I did Was Paint the top piece and the port before I permanently bonded them... After I did that I glued and screwed the top on.... After that I had to sand the seams so it would appear as on piece when painted...

After sanding all the edges to where the seams were even I started the paint process.... In this picure it shows i used some scrap packing paper to block the inside of the port from the overspray so I can focus on the edge and outter appearance of the port..... I put about 3 to 4 coats of primer before moving to the base coat

Alright, so my base color is a metallic and when spraying metallic you have to spray VERY light coats or it will appear darker then its suppose to so here we go!

Alright now we getting some where haha!
