I used to do it for hockey all the time, when I played center I was around 170, and for goalie I stacked on to 180-185. But just from eating, I hardly gain anything. Even with a really positive energy balance, like 2500+ for some days, I don't really seem to gain more than 2lbs at most, and then it disappears anyway. I would need like 4000 calories a day to really show weight gain it seems like. I'm sure it will start to slow down though.
