$67k on repairs though?

That's nuts but then again it is a ford.

he does weekly maintenance and he is also paying above dealer cost going to that place.. firestone wanted over $800 on wire plugs, spark plugs and oil change.. i can see him spending 67k in service taking it to crooks

Because the spark plugs on them are a pain in the dick to do and will raise your blood pressure to dangerous levels. You're paying a ton for labor because Ford couldn't design a proper head that uses normal spark plugs

The head isn't the problem it is the plugs themselves, they were a 3 piece plug and that's why they would separate.

Supposedly they are now 1 piece plugs.

That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.

yes they are now 1 piece. but still, fuck that head... makes that engine bay such a bitch to work in. easier to fit in an engine bay of a 6.0l PowerStroke than an F150 with a 3v 5.4

My Silverado has a 4.3 it's got no power but boy do I have plenty of room in the engine bay for whatever needs to get done.

oh christ I miss those days of small OHV motors and big engine bays.

hell my 460 F250, I could get in the bay completely. Only reason I like the 6.0 bay is because I can lay down ontop of it pretty easily...

Most favorite engine bay of all time has to be a 300ci Inline 6 Ford Pickup, any year it was offered.

Those 300 six's are fucking bullet proof too.

I'd love to get my hands on a clean 150 with a 300 six and a manual.
