audiofanaticz Posted April 10, 2016 Report Share Posted April 10, 2016 looks like it. Its odd that its not every speaker that catches fire, its only one here and there. A more legit reason to why this issue happens besides "mircowaving waves" is due to poor solder joints on the lead out wires of the coil which in return heats up and catches the spiders on fire (just like when someone has a poor ring terminal connection or crimp on a fuse holder and melts their power wire). 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
