Consider what you make and how long it would take you to get that money. Not the cost of keeping someone in jail

I think in prison it's more like well over $165+ a day but I am not trying to argue.

lets put it this way.. steal from the rich do life/20yo in jail

get caught carrying an illegal gun. 2 year sentence..

another one, illegally discharging a fire arm carries a 2 year sentence

do both you get 4 years.. hit someone gt 14 years for attempted murder

tell me how that makes sense

so it looks like stealing from the rich is the biggest crime

Punishment

Burglary with explosives is punishable by three, five, or seven years in prison. Burglary in the first degree is punishable by two, four, or six years in prison. Other burglaries, including looting, are punishable by up to one year in county jail, although prison sentences can be imposed for defendants who have prior criminal convictions. In most looting cases, the defendant must spend at least 180 days in jail.

Subsection (a) prohibits the taking or attempted taking by force, intimidation, or extortion, of any property, money or any other thing of value belonging to, or in the care, custody, control, management or possession of any bank, credit union, or savings and loan association, which are defined in § 2113(f), (g), and (h), respectively. Furthermore, anyone who enters or attempts to enter any building used in whole or in part as a bank, credit union, or savings and loan association with the intent to commit any felony affecting such financial institution or any larceny is subject to a fine, twenty years imprisonment or both.

mug someone using a firearm 3,5,or 7 years.. rob a bank is 20 years.. laws protect the rich not the regular citizens

Break the math down. Typical jails are what, $50/day when you are serving time? A Veyron is like 1.6 million...

1,600,000/50=32000.

32000/365=87 years. Roughly.

Dude is getting off easy.

when I went to jail like 2 weeks ago, it was 300/day

holy fuck, 300/day?!

It's 50-85 here usually. Depends how big the town is.

Hell it costs the state more to keep a person in a cell that what they credit you around here.

So my girlfriend has been irritated for quite awhile by having a stock radio without an aux port. I decided to buy her one for Christmas but it won't get here in time

I decide to remove my own radio to give to her while I wait. Sacrifices gentlemen
