SnowDrifter
Law doesn't mention the speed limit. Keep right except to pass. Not keep right except to.pass except at certain speeds. If you're not part of the solution you're part of the problem so if you see someone wants to get them over. Or better yet just stay in the lane to your right 1 Quote ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444
CstrokerV
uh speeding is illegal is it not? people get pulled over for passing people at higher then posted speed limit. ive seen people get pulled over 5 miles over the limit to pass.. besides when i went to high school we had driving classes our teacher was a state trooper and told us that. so obviously its a given and im sure its state by state anyways ehh what im reading now is its in the wrong no matter what speed you are driving if you are slower then the car behind you lol ... wtf to that..... and its different in different states Edited July 7, 2015 by CstrokerV Quote my build http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/142505-small-build-log-4-dc-lvl3-10s-tl-update-link-to-rebuild/ http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/154258-rebuild-6-lvl3-12s-update-small-video-nothing-spectacular/ new build http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/188181-03-trailblazer-slow-build-8-dc-lvl3-12-m1-motor-m2-parts/
CstrokerV
The most popular law follows the Uniform Vehicle Code, which says a car driving below the "normal speed of traffic" should be driven in the right-hand lane. Because it indicates "normal speed" instead of saying "speed limit" a driver going above the speed limit but slower than most traffic is still in the wrong. reedal
I get behind more unmarked state boys and even marked state trooper cars that are doing 15+mph over the speed limit than most other drivers around here. No complaints though, because I prefer those speeds, and much more when I don't have any in my sight. 1 Quote SMD Tool Map https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/193176-smd-tool-map-new-november-2014/ Build log https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/197217-reeds-03-tahoe-hat-sqaq-singer-xs-shca-cockbox-80prs/?page=

If traffic's moving too fast for you hop to the right a lane. No big deal. I do it all the time. Most I'll go is 65 since I can't afford a ticket and I just chill in the right lane. Some people stay behind me, some people pass me and go about their day. Really not a big deal Quote ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444

Kind of defeats the purpose of unmarked cars in Ohio then I'd think... aculous
People follow me all the time thinking I am an unmarked. Or I love the people who do 120 past me then see the spotlight as they are passing me and slam on the brakes. "dude if I were a cop I would pull you over BECAUSE you slammed on your brakes" But I live in the communist republic of Virigina where my taxes are paid for in speeding tickets so I try to take it easy. Was hard on the bike today though.
