ShadeTreeMechanic
Another way to tell is to look at the car when you get in. Doesn't everyone take a look at their tires before they get in? Even if you don't, you can still see if it is on the drivers side. 2 Quote 91 C350 Centurion conversion ( Four Door One Ton Bronco) 250A Alternator (Second Alternator Coming Soon) G65 AGM Up Front / Two G31 AGM in Back Pioneer 80PRS CT Sounds AT125.2 / CT Sounds 6.5 Strato Pro component Front Stage CT Sounds AT125.2 / Lanzar Pro 8" coax w/compression horn tweeter Rear Fill FSD 5000D 1/2 ohm (SoundQubed 7k Coming Soon) Two HDS315 Four Qubes Each 34hz (Two HDC3.118 and New Box Coming Soon)

They still had full service gas stations and one attendant would pump the gas another one would wash the windows, and a third one would talk to the driver. The filler was behind the license plate. I remember my dad complaining that when the tank was full and she stepped on it hard, gas would leak out the cap vent. Not going to lie, I kind of miss that about newer cars, wish this was still done, however with how vehicle bodies changed and now the rear the vehicle opening up with the trunk instead of just the top portion makes it pretty much impossible. Now days you have a gas door right in the middle of some clean body lines.
