Proposing, have two weeks to plan!

Recommended Posts

I am proposing to my girlfriend of ~7 years in 2 weeks on July 5th. I was planning on doing it on the 4th of July but I have a hunch she is expecting me to do it then so I don't want to anymore just to throw her brain for a loop haha! I was originally thinking right before the fireworks or something but now that I'm waiting another day I'm left with a blank slate once again with 2 weeks to plan. We are both fairly outdoorsy people who love to hike and stuff. I was thinking about driving down and hiking in the Wallowa Mountains in Oregon, but I want the proposal to be creative, not just pull out a ring on the summit or something. I want it hidden somewhere or in something unexpected.

Another idea I had was we could go to a big lake a few hours away and hang out there all day, swim, and collect shells on the beach or something and I could "plant" the ring in a shell or something when we look through them.

Basically I would like some help with ideas on how I can be creative. I've spent hhouuuurrrss Google-ing ideas but everything seems too public for her oorrrr we don't have enough friends to help (We're pretty darn anti-social sometimes).

Please don't say anything like "kiss goodbye to my life" or something since I'm getting married... nothing negative, just ideas would be great! Thanks dudes.

I'd be simple... whilst walking, say you need to tie your laces, when you go down on one knee she should be turning around, just have the ring out as she does! :P

Live life to the full... Then TURN THAT BITCH UP!

Heres an idea take the ring out of the box... Stick empty box in her favorite pair of hiking shoes and tell her grab her shoes and put em on... Once she locates empty box let her get all excited and open it and see its empty ... Tell her to keep searching... Tie ring into shoelaces of another pair of shoes in plain sight while she furiously searches for the ring in her shoes lol

I don't really have any ideas man. But I wish you the best!

Good rule of thump is go by what fuse size is being used in these amps. The higher the more amperage it pulls, this is what I look at.

I'll stick a 300 amp fuse in a potato and sell it to you for $2k.

have you ever heard of geo cache-ing? if you guys like to hike and explore that would be cool. and you could hide the ring in one of the geo cache boxes so when you "find" it she will be very surprised.
