My build peaks at 49-50hz. Last time I measured my scores were 149,2db at passenger kick, driver's door open. And it was @ 49hz.Do you have any deadening in your KIA? Omega5002 Posted February 18, 2014 Author Report Share Posted February 18, 2014 Well, I thought I'd update to let whoever is following know what's going onI actually did get the DC alt but I have bad news about itIt didn't fit, after waiting 3 months being all excited and stuff, because I thought it would bolt on since DC machine's their alt, it was way offThe pulley was incorrect(I needed a 4 rib, dc gave me a 5 rib), the mounts were too short, the casing was touching the idler pulley, and when I try to mount the alt, since the mounts were too short, the casing would hit the engine. This is what happens when I want the biggest and fanciest alt for my car, so I decided to send it back, I was gonna let them fix it, but I decided to ask for a refund because I was tired of waiting nearly 5 months to get the alt working for my car, in that time frame, I could have gotten a universal 320 (whether mechman, singer, excessive etc), have someone machine me a bracket, and have it running. I haven't worked on the car cause I lost motivation due to this problem, but I'm not gonna give up. It's just a bummer cause I worked my ass of to get the money to buy this alt and this shit happens.So I'm gonna get a refund, and get a Singer 220 with external regulation, and be done. Interesting ideas. black BMW X1 2.0 l 192 hp OEM head unit, Amplifiers : Audison AP 8.9 amp with integrated DSP and Ampere Audio 1200. Focal ES 100 K in front doors, and Dayton RS 180 for midbass under the front seats. 2 SSA DEMONS 10" subs, in a 2.6 ft3 ported box.
