Sutliff
If I am wrong here, then I guess I get the biggest butthurt ever, but did I not prove that there is not a wiring problem? That alone. purplesyrup
My inquiry was about the alternator not putting out its rated amount ... These D3400 run stereos, by themselves, a Hell of a lot bigger than this 900 watt'er. Folks are right, recharging the batt is crucial, & if the alt is not doing that as efficiently as it is supposed to, then there is the problem. I should have waited before posting, or at least re-thought my approach with what I had. DUDE the car is not running, its not going to charge the fricken battery if its not running hence voltage drop on something drawing power from somthing not being charged sorry if this was already stated, could not read any further
Sutliff
BATT to amps, through breakers, with nominal voltage drops. tacomaguy1
What you posted shows us nothing do measurements again with the car on and report back Team Flex Issues
Trey_Dog650
Dropping from 13 volts to 11 on just one battery at "80%" power is gonna happen. It would be more of a wiring issue if your batt rests at 13.1 and the voltage at your amp was 11 with nothing on! 13 Kia Forte Build! 07 Hyundai Accent Build ***Super Seller*** N8ball2013 And then he gets to say ok all you guys were right. im sorry for being a dummy poo poo head. CJ18
I know this has probably been said, I dont feel like reading the other comments though. DAFUQ?!?!!?!?!?!??!!!! Car is off and you expect the alternator to be on????? You know that pulley looking thing on the front of the alternator that the belt wraps around? Yeah that thing has to be spinning for the alternator to create power. How do you make that spin? You crank the car!
