BigManAC
So I FINALLY figured out why my tuning was so high! IT'S MY DAMN CAR! Haha I was thinking it might be the resonate frequency of my car because I had built multiple boxes tuned around 30 and they all SUCKED on the lows. So I got a friend of mine who has a BL 15 that just KILLS the lows so I took his sub/box/amp, put it all in my car, and it SUCKED on the lows EXACTLY like my BL 18. So I've got a bunch of deadener I'm putting in my car tomorrow. Hopefully that helps! We could always trade subs, I would mind having that 18 hit 34-25Hz in my car lol 2001 Saturn L200-Sony MEX-BT4100PFRONT STAGE:- (4) Crescendo PWX 6- Cadence XA250.2SUB STAGE:-Fi Audio BL 15 (Sealed Off)-Crescendo BC2kELECTRICAL:- Singer 240A alt - XS Power D3400- SkyHigh OFC power/speaker wire- Big 3 with SkyHigh 0gaugeBuild Log: Click HereScores: 146.5db @ 29hz Outlaw
DylanBunch
explains a lot haha i got so pissed off tonight at how shitty 29-36hz sounds in my car, that ive decided im selling my 18 tomorrow ( look for it on here tomorrow ) and just going bassless till my new sub gets here. I also have some sound deadener coming, so hopefully i figure something out... idk i feel like sound deadedner wont be enough though lol i took out my back carge covers and layed an mdf floor down and 29-36hz makes that shit rattle like a mofo, sub doesnt mave at all, and everything just sounds like straight shit, so tonight i did what i thought was a lot better job of securing it down, beat it a couple times to see if there was a bad noise coming from it and there was a small one but a LOT better..... thought my box/sub/amps back in, immediately play a low 30s song and i fucking raged cause it almost sounded worse. Also now on the song mi casa su casa (lowest note 29hz) my sub stutters, like wtf lol i hate it and idk what to do 2006 Ford Explorer 2 Team AA/Sundown 15s 6th order Ct Sounds 7k 4 PRV Mr500 8s Rockford p1000-2 Team Subsonic Lows

Brandonbkd
Okay so I deadened most of my car with a few layers of Mega Mat (butyl based deadener) and it made a HUGE difference. Songs in the 20 hz range still don't sound awesome but from 32 - 40 sound amazing! Will be posting some vids in the next few days when I get some time. baaudio
Im just saying it will take some messing around. For some reason side firing ports always seemed more musical in my truck. That 2 12 setup played down to 20hz but peak freq on TL was 51 hz lol Team NWSPL baaudio Build Log 2001 GMC Sierra walkthrough 4 Mechman Elite 370s, 10 AGM batteries, 3 Crossfire XS v2 18s, Crossfire 8k

Brandonbkd
So I've been extremely busy with school and work as well as having to replace all the body mount bushings on my car. At least half of them were so bad they crumbled in my hand and 2 of them were COMPLETELY gone. Rides wayyy smoother now. I'll be redoing my box hopefully this coming week with spray on bed liner. Seen a couple people on here use the duplicolor stuff and it looks pretty sweet FI BL18 Build Log: CLICK HERE!! 2003 Explorer Sport: FI BL18 SoundQubed 2200 at 0.7ohm Pioneer DEH-2500UI Pioneer 6 x 8s Rockford Fosgate 6 x 9s 5 ft^3 box at 35hz Lots of Mega Mat
