Mixing Coils!?

Okay got a deal on 10 subs all sundown e15's, But there is only 6 d2's and 8d4's so iw as wondering im going fro 10 total subs could i do 5 and 5 or 8 and 2 would it be okay to mix cant i jsut wire d4 to d2 then wire to rest? say 2 D4's wire them together to D2 then wire to rest for a final load?

thats why im saying say i go 2 d4 wire them to d2 so now their load is d2 and wire it so the total systemm load is D2

i dont think it works like that...even if you wire it all to the correct final load, the lower resistance coils will still get more power.

a vet correct me if im wrong please. really good question here...

you cant wire all of the coils to the same load so I say don't do it. but lets just say for the sake of arguement. you had all same motors just some subs were D2 and the others were S4 you could wire the D2's to 4 so every sub sees the same load. This should never be done if you are not using all the same subs.

Simple answer for your project is just to recone.
