Here's a video of the 30 second set list I made for the DB Drag. The mic on the camera sucks and cuts out as soon as the bass hits.

I'm curious to see how the plastic panels on the car take it

Same here. I have yet had a chance to put any deadener behind the door but I do plan to in the future. Probably around the time I seal it off.

Today I got the wood bracing done in the pods and tomorrow is bondo and top mount glassing. Tonight I was gonna do more work but we had a trunk and treat thing at my friends church so we did that. We decked out my trunk and played halloween music for the kiddies and put the candy in the sub so when they grabbed the candy the sub would shake it from the music ( not a lot but just a little rattle). Was a great success and by far had the best decorated car there.

And my friend too lol

I woke up early to get started on the doors and spent about 3 hours trying to get them secured to the frame with no luck. The pods are still sagging a little low and giving me clearance issues. So, I have decided that im going to restart the door pods build and just start from scratch. This time though im gonna use either 1/2'' or 1/4'' plywood as my backing and use Titebond PL premium to put bolts on the door so when I go to attach the panel i can just throw a washer and bolt on. Not sure when ill start the build because I am gonna be buying a Singer alt soon which will take up most of my savings.

Went by Home Depot today and picked up the birch plywood, hardware, and also went and got the fabric for the doors. I was thinking about getting the PWX 8's instead of the SQ 8's I have but after finding out they are only 5/16 shorter I said fuck it idgaf. I will be reusing the rings I have and hopefully get started in these things Friday and get some pics up. The alt will have to come for or after Christmas. Maybe Santa will bring it!?! My deadline for the doors is before thanksgiving.

I was able to get some work done today on my door pods. I also finally got around to fixing my SQ SDC 8 that I had dented with my knew a little while back.

This is what the sub looked like before.

null_zpse1af6e97.jpg

I pulled the dent out with a paper clip and tore a bit of the top paper off so I just pulled it all off.

I put a piece of tape over the hole and then poured a layer of fiberglass over top and smoothed it out then sanded it down.

Tape off the paint area and prepped with acetone.

I put about 4 or 5 layers of paint and I will end up butting a green SQ logo on the dust cap.
