10 p2 12's in grand am

I used to own a grand am and i cant picture how u can even get a box big enough to mount 6 subs inside the trunk. Much less ported. Even with building a box inside the trunk 6 cubes is about max .

I own a grand am and I sure hell can't wrap my head around putting 6 12s or 10s in a trunk lol the buggiest you can do is 2 15s. My box is 17h and that damn thing just fit. OP please do not do this, these guys on here know what they are talking about. Sure to ahead and build and when it sounds like shit and someone with a smaller system so to speak, is louder well, don't be asking us why bc we already told you. You can do 3 12s firing up. But your whole idea will not work unless your walling it. Go with 2 12s or a 15 and call it a day, you will get louder that way. Just my .02

i am only doing 6 because i realized how little air space i would have and you were all right, i am still learning but this isnt my first systme i just needed be told what to do some what, i will be putting 6 in an 8.04 cf box with a 15" x 5" port 10.5" deep tuned to 40Hz

4 subs are here waiting on the last 2 starting the box tomorrow

bro I'm glad you've been somewhat listening enough to keep lowering the number of subs... but you're still kinda high... even if you could fit 8 cuft in a trunk which is unlikely at best that's still not nearly enough for 6 12s in a ported box not to mention that the port takes up space too. You need around 2 cuft per 12 in a ported box... 6 x 2 = 12... not 8

First of all get that amp out of that back window for god's sake and listen to the advice you're being given. I've had a grand am before and I had 4 12's in it. I wouldn't go anymore than 4 and that's going to take every bit of that trunk,you might have enough space left for your amps but I would seriously take that amp out of the back window.

You have changed the plan from 10 12s down to 8 and at current status, 6. So get down to 4, build inside of the trunk, ported and sealed around the edges of the trunk opening. 8 cubes net should be enough for the 4 subs. Do you own the T2500 yet?

and i was just throwin shit out there in the begining but now i have all 6 of the subs and almost have the box done i understand 8 cubes is a little to small for 6 but im jus tryin shit out so please guys shut the fuck up ya dont have to keep sayin the same shit over and over i just want to try some shit... thanks!!!
