I have a 2003 Chevy Cavalier with an aftermarket head unit that's absolute distortion trash. That's what you get when you go cheap I guess. I just need to know what ones are good that won't distort on me when I turn it way way up. I should only be using the pre-outs. I have a pretty solid sound system in, 5kw+ so I need to not be ruining any of my stuff. I notice you all really like Pioneer! I've been looking into the Kenwood KDC BT955HD and the eXcelon KDC-X997. I'm obviously going to have to check out all of your recommendations and see what ones are more in my budget.
