MMATS amp strange issue

ok on the hummer install, have each amp on 2 15s wired to 1 ohm, they are TEAM MMATS 4000.1's

if you have not seen the install, there is TONS of electrical, amps are grounded in 2 different places, including the frame,

have 12,000 amps of batteries in line so its not a voltage issue, and during testing the lowest drop we saw today was down to 12.4.

Heres the issue, one of the amps, when you crank it up, will all of a sudden make the subs "POP" once, then the 2 subs, stop playing for about 2 or 3 seconds, then comes back on playing again just fine, the amp power light stays on while this happens as well. and no protect lights

The other amp is performing just fine

it does it at total random, both amps are brand new, anyone had this problem before?

if it does it when crankin up as in volume it could be a high voltage from the hu causing it but I don't know realy

Sounds like a potential problem with the output section on the board. Something could possibly be loose. Just a guess though.

so internally on the board is what you mean?

does the amp have a bass knob?

the amps dont have a bassknob, there is a bass knob on the RCA's so if it was that I would think both amps would cut out

check for loose rcas

i know mmats don't like the voltage to drop very low

are you running a splitter for the rcas

there is a splitter on the RCA's his head unit is 4 volt out, i was told to run no higher than 2 volt input per amp, these are team mmats amps and very picky

lol i'll say have you tried to remove the y splitter out of the equation and ran the amp with the problem to see if it persists
