OrzechNJ Posted August 13, 2013 Report Posted August 13, 2013 there is no answer for this question.. depends from application, enclosure design, electrical and more.. sometimes Loud is NOT pretty Sounds like its safe to go ahead and bend that ass over.
BigBurt Posted August 13, 2013 Author Report Posted August 13, 2013 How about a list of Loud SQ subs ? 2 12" PioneerPremier TS-3001D4 DD Z1 Custom Enclosure Slot Port tuned at 26hz 2x RF T1652 RF T300.2 0 Gauge Power/Ground Kinetik Power cell KHC2400
stroupe79 Posted August 13, 2013 Report Posted August 13, 2013 the fact you even mentioned Kicker CompR 15 is not a good sign... budget would help, what do you plan to spend and how much power do you plan to run would be a good start... if your looking for cheap options you should consider Sundown E series http://showtimecaraudio.net/shop/15/e-series-15-d2-400-watt-subwoofer/ or Obsidian http://obsidiancaraudio.com/index.php?id=6 Sundown SAs are very nice subs too, for a bit more but still quite budget friendly http://showtimecaraudio.net/shop/15/sa-series-15-d2-600-watt-subwoofer/ this is just the tip of the iceberg honestly there are tons of quality subs these days http://www.stevemead...cherokee-build/ 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Alpine CDE-hd148bt Alpine PKG-RSE2 PRV Audio (4) 6MB200 front/rear doors PRV Audio (4) TW350Ti dash/rear doors Kicker KX350.4 Obsidian Audio (1) 18 D4 v2 revamp (2) Stereo Integrity HT 18d2DC Audio 1.2k5.25ft^3 tuned @34hz revamp Infinite Baffle Cpillar AudioTechnix 60mil deadenerKnuKonceptz & SkyHigh wire (complete setup)
81000D Posted August 13, 2013 Report Posted August 13, 2013 The sa subs do sound great for the price and are pretty damn rugged too.
BigBurt Posted August 13, 2013 Author Report Posted August 13, 2013 As mentioned before i haven't heard Kicker CompR yet, Yeah SA audio is great but we don't get that brand here. I live in south africa. my budget in US currency probably about 2000 $ my electric system in my ride is hooked up so power aint that much of an issue. i'm only looking for 15" woofers fellas 2 12" PioneerPremier TS-3001D4 DD Z1 Custom Enclosure Slot Port tuned at 26hz 2x RF T1652 RF T300.2 0 Gauge Power/Ground Kinetik Power cell KHC2400

Maby your sub´s would sound much nicer in a other selfbuilded box. More threw the spec´s flared port´s, best position for sub´s and ports and sounddeadening the car. Post pic´s of box and car.
