It will clip at a different point depending on your setup. HU, RCA's and line voltage. My Nendo 3500's clipped at 65% gain in my old build now they clip at half. Real96SS Posted August 14, 2013 Report Share Posted August 14, 2013 My 9k hums when the DD-1 shows distortion.So if your amp is humming then that mean your hitting the point of distortion. The amps gain is only there to match the amps output to the source unit. So if you have bass boost turned up or your line driver turned up then your amp wont need to be turned up much to match the input signal.
