10k off 2 batteries and a cap?

Recommended Posts

Depending on the size of the cap and alt power sure. Bank of supercaps, 2 group 31s, pair of 270 alts I'd feel very comfortable running 10k

Shit I'd feel comfortable running 10k "rated" with a single 270.

Agreed with group 31 ba

Doubt it will last long. Im running a 5K w/ dual inputs off 6 group 31 batteries + 1 group 34 XS, 4 runs of 1/0 ofc and a 325a alt.

If your attempting to run a legit 10k amp like DC off that electrical I have the following advice for you:

I clamped 9466 (@10.6v) with 3 batts and one alt. 1 batt is probably messed up though it has a bulge. I would drop to 10v but it played fine still
