TheMonolith2001 Posted August 21, 2013 Report Posted August 21, 2013 What happens if the battery vents though? Isn't it going to clog it up and it won't be able to? Or will the pressure break through? I would be careful about where you are putting it on the battery.

I would be careful about where you are putting it on the battery. Most people on here use sealed AGM's they don't vent under normal operation. My 2005 s10 blazer build. 4 zcon 18's walled.

I am wondering if I Plasti-dip it instead of tinting much darker if it would affect that? or even if it was say rear defrost in another window, would the Plasti-dip on one side of it affect that? The stuff peals off correct? if need be if you want it off I mean I see lots on here using it and would definitely like to remove it if I had to unlike scraping paint off windows like i used to. HatersGonnaHate Posted August 21, 2013 Report Posted August 21, 2013 The antenna should be fine, I think the only thing that MIGHT cause a problem would be rear windows that have the defrost strips on them. Those defrost strips run off of resistance, so they do get warm, so there would be a chance of it melting the plastidip. Like if you plastidip on the side where you can feel the defrost lines, that would be a concern. If you did the opposite side of the glass, it shouldn't be a problem.
