SnowDrifter
20 gallon compressor is a little light for that tool as well. If that's seriously not enough I'm returning it. Ahhhh lame. I guess air tools just aren't for me then. Can't find a 6cfm compressor that's within budget and won't necessitate either wiring to a 20 amp plug or 240v lol Thanks for the help guys ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444

SnowDrifter
Waaaaiiiiiitttt hold up. Just did some reading. CFM is what the compressor's pump can supply. Like an alt. The rest of the tank just holds the air, you can even grossly exceed the compressor's output. In bursts though. Like batteries. In the video, the compressor was charged to 150 psi. Never once did the pressure dip low enough to cause the pump to kick back on. So whether my pump was 4cfm, 1cfm, or 38 cfm, it was off the whole time and I didn't draw enough air to necessitate a recharge. So how is it that I need a bigger pump? Is the issue with my compressor or the impact gun? Or something else? ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444
