bbeljefe
Looks good man. I'm wondering though.... what did you sand the galvanized with (grit) and did you clear it afterwards? Oh and, thems some damn fine cuts wid da hand snips. I've seen seasoned AC guys who can't cut a round hole to save their ass. AI James
looks great. I had a hard time telling in most of the pics but the finish look of the metal was that like a brushed look?

9Nails
Nice work Steve! How I wish the internet would do it justice for sound, because I bet that whole system sounds amazing too. Where does that chrome looking carbon fiber trim around the window switches come from? Can your interior trim panel on the speakers match that switch trim as well? And are you using magnets to hold the speaker cover on?
meade916
Looks good man. I'm wondering though.... what did you sand the galvanized with (grit) and did you clear it afterwards? Oh and, thems some damn fine cuts wid da hand snips. I've seen seasoned AC guys who can't cut a round hole to save their ass. i sanded off the top layer to about 400 grit and then polished it. It is too shiny, i don't like it. I am going to paint it black or possibly grey.....it won't ever be seen anyway though. looks great. I had a hard time telling in most of the pics but the finish look of the metal was that like a brushed look? Needs more fur. not a fan of fur at all. Nothing says "i was too lazy to sand but still want people to think i put in the work" like a furry door panel. That's cheating. Not to mention ugly too LOL. I am good with snips too but I would have used a jig saw.lol Looks fuckin awesome a jigsaw on 24ga GSM? I wouldn't. Thanks though man!
