CJs Droppin' HZ DC Audio F150

Isn't this thing already wired up?

Tuned in either way.

Going to be doing a complete rewire and going to all SHCA wire. Gonna do a few dyno runs also to see if there are any losses or gains from the switch.

I was curious but unless everything is the same other than the wire, it's not really a fair comparison imo. I imagine the gains or losses would be negligible either way. The only thing I see the xs really having an advantage in is longevity due to it being silver tinned. I'm excited though, you've always done very nice work so I'm sure it will be a flawless build either way.

Dont have XS wire, everything in the truck right now is 2/0 and 1/0 welding cable. Right now I have 6 runs total of 2/0 welding cable 3+/3- running from my Singer 400 back to the 14v bank. Will be switching that over to 4 total runs of SHCA 2/0 2+/2-. I dont know how close they compare in strand count, but I think it is a decent comparison.

lol, you know the shca is ridiculous compared to normal wire, my shca 2/0 is bigger than my 4/0 welding cable

Used to have a loud truck

why are you going down to XL's from the 5's? is it due to your power on tap?

Going up to 6 subs from 4. Oh and going up to 2 9ks now.

ahh. i forgot you only had 4 in the old build. should get nasty and make some noise. What are the goals for this?

No real goals in mind, just look sick and be loud. Dont care about number,s care more about air movement and vibrations. I guess the only real goal is to be a demo monster and rolling advertisement.

Some people think I am crazy for having so much equipment in my truck and money invested in it and I dont even compete. I do it because I love it and am addicted to it. I can think of far worse things to be addicted to.
