I was reading up the other day, i don't remember where it was, but the comparison that was made was between a pair of 25lb 2.5" coil 12's on 1.2k vs a pair of 45lb 3" coil 12's on 1.2k, even though the 3" coil subs were drastically underpowered they were still louder than the 2.5" coil subs, wondering if the same would apply in your application? Shattered windshield on day 1. I thought he had a build log on here somewhere. Current system: 1997 Blazer - (4) Customer Fi NEO subs with (8) American Bass Elite 2800.1s Previous systems: 2000 Suburban - (4) BTL 15's and (4) IA 40.1's = 157.7 dB at 37 Hz. 1992 Astro Van - (6) BTL 15's and (6) IA 40.1's = 159.7 dB at 43 Hz.
