Nice work. I really like that box.

Thats cool. Im way too old to be upset by shit like that. Your name is winston. Your own parents hated you even before you were born.

My penis is bigger than your penis

I'm far from loud and my roof/headliner flaps around like Adam's ass on a windy day. I think it depends more on the structure of the vehicle.

And people say you can fit a fullsize sub, behind the seat...comfortably...in a singlecab. Psst. FUCK THAT IS CLEAN THOUGH! When you play it, try it with the passenger door closed, and window up, with your door all the way open.

I haven't had time to drive, let alone work on, the truck since I installed the enclosure. I stopped by today a local place and got all new RF twisted RCAs. I've run these exact ones before with success. So it's out with the KNUs and in with RF again. I ended up buying 3 16' and one 3' to jump from the EQ to the HU. I'm hoping this fixes my noise. It's super frustrating, I've NEVER had alternator whine before and it's really junky. I'll swap these things out, fire the system up, hopefully it works. Then I'll get on top of fiberglassing the inside of the box, along with fixing the outside cosmetically. I'm really happy with the way the enclosure fits in the truck and the finish I got from the paint.

Did you redo your grounds when you installed the amps again?

I just think it is odd that the RCA's would work fine but then start whining.

Krakin, are you some sort of mad scientist?

I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . .

What you hear is not the air pressure variation in itself

but what has drawn your attention

in the two streams of superimposed air pressure variations at your eardrums

An acoustic event has dimensions of Time, Tone, Loudness and Space

Everyone learns to render the 3-dimensional localization of sound based on the individual shape of their ears,

thus no formula can achieve a definite effect for every listener.

So this is what I'm thinking. The Great Stuff got on the RCA but was STILL stuck to the RCA. I re-ran the RCAs In a different location AFTER I cleaned the excess crap(foam)) off of it. I noticed an exposed section so I electrical taped it. I have CRAZY whine and it was a quiet system before.

As far as the grounds go, no chassis grounds were changed. The input that is 1/0 OFC going into the distro block it's unchanged. I did change out the 4 gauge to new SHCA from the distro too the amps. I did the same prices for my power side The input is the same, but the outputs to the amps are new wire. I checked and the connections are TIGHT at the amps and at the distro blocks for the new 4 gauge.

The terminations of the RCA's are still fine right?

Anything with remote wires?
