The SMD AD-1 Amp Dyno doesnt just test car amps, it tests ANYTHING with an amp in it. This week, i thought i would try out the shop boom-box and see what kind of power it puts out. It is rated, in the book, at 150w x 2 @ 10% THD. If you look deeper in the specs, you see it says 80w x 2 @ .07 THD. That is the number i will use. Although the few sites i looked at, all said "300 watts RMS" when advertising it. anyhow, no contest this week. I will upload the video in the next 30 minutes. I have a similar boom box thing, and it can't drive a pair of Kicker KS components, 4 ohm ones, worth a damn that I put in a buddy's truck.
