Tecomah
How can i word this without sounding (reading it) like a ass. But i expected more in that box. When i see SPL vehicals like this i would think the box look like the insides of a Jet engine. But seeing the pic i was like "oh thats it" Congrats on the score and hope to see more of this cause i'm amazed and wanna see lots more of the progress. same I'm sure hundreds of hours have been put into this system but I was expecting something crazy like a quasi 88th order or something. But a 165 is ridiculous makes me want to buy some more sundown products Quote 750??! Yeah, fuck that. sundownz
was the measures taken in the opposite side from the port? or on the port side. (kick) was the meter in center of dash or at the other side also? just interested in. The lower number is on the passenger side dash (standard dB Drag position). The higher number is in the kick panel on that side. sundownz
At lower power the Yellow spiders were about 2.5dB louder than the stock black ones; but at high power only 0.1-0.2 dB louder. So this means we need to look elsewhere to make gains -- such as stronger motors, tweaking the cabin and box, etc.Very cool information to have on hand, though, in case anyone is doing a lower clamped power class with a similar big 4th order 1 Quote - Jacob Fuller - Owner, Sundown Audio - Sundown Audio on FACEBOOK - Please DO NOT PM ME -- use my email address -- [email protected]
cjvue
Yellow vs Black spider: that's interesting... I have the opposite result in a regular ported box at lower power. Deinately some great information nonetheless. sundownz
We are playing 59-60 Hz -- if you were playing lower then, yes, you would see the opposite.
