Awhitewookie Posted October 3, 2013 Report Posted October 3, 2013 Hey everyone. Just installed my mechman 270 w/avbm and have it set to charge at 14.7. Went to sleep and the next morning my batts were sitting at 12.5 (normal I know) except when I had my old alternator charging at 14.4 I went to Florida for 2 weeks and came back with the batts sitting at 13.0. Lowest ever saw it sit was 12.8. Just wondering if charging higher than. 14.4 can cause negative effects. Thanks!
