It will look better than on current gen console but not better than next gen?

Either way, I need to buy a cooling pad before even attempting

I'm not sure how it will look compared to next gen.

I would say if you have a lot of friends getting it for console (idk if you can play with each other cross generations), then get it for that. especially if you are going to be getting next gen anyway.

It should be playing at 1080p on next gen PS4, as that had more graphical computing power than my old gaming pc.

Well yeah I did a bunch of Googling right now and as far as BF4 goes I'd maybe get about 30-40fps on Medium settings. This site did a benchmark on a somewhat similar laptop (CPU was 2.4 compared to my 1. 8) and they got 45.8FPS on medium....I wish there was a way to test on my computer before actually buying and being stuck with it

When I get a next gen console its gonna be XB1 so it will be 720p :(

It should be upscaled to 1080p just 720p native.

Edit: either way the game is still a lot of fun, and next gen should get 64 player support, which in my opinion makes the game.

the only games that are out that are 72p and all that are the first gen games. The next round of games are going to be higher resolution. Ryse is supposed to be 900p I think there are others too. chances you can actually notice the difference are slim anyways.
