I would say if you have a lot of friends getting it for console (idk if you can play with each other cross generations), then get it for that. especially if you are going to be getting next gen anyway. It should be playing at 1080p on next gen PS4, as that had more graphical computing power than my old gaming pc. Edit: either way the game is still a lot of fun, and next gen should get 64 player support, which in my opinion makes the game. The next round of games are going to be higher resolution. Ryse is supposed to be 900p I think there are others too. chances you can actually notice the difference are slim anyways.
