CJSmith
Could 4 AA mayhem's get that loud on 2 D9's @ 1ohm each? Or would I need 2 more D9's? *Rebuid in progress*
Jeremy Perfect
Dude do what you feel. Just make sure you have the electrical for the install. If you want 8 18s do it up cause that would be sweet. Just cause someone else has something seemed but not what our doing does not mean that what have to do also. Good luck
pioneerforlife
Its hard to say if it would get just as loud but it would still be loud as hell. If you wanna do 8 18's, have the money, time, and most of all electrical, than do it. It will be a bit more of a challenge than the 4 but if its what u want to do then do it. 2007 Ford Focus SES Hatchback Pioneer HU 4 Digital Designs 9515i's in a B pillar. 2 Soundstream XXX 15K's (running at 16 volts) Soundstream Mids/Highs in custom door panels (getting rebuilt soon) Soundstream TA2.160 and TA2.400 Sky High and KNU wiring 3 Banks of Maxwell caps Winston Lithium (not a fan) Bump4Life 250 Amp Alt. aka USAlternators Soundstream Focus and Avenger Build Log Instagram @p4linnovation YouTube: Team Blowin Loud

I have 2 bc5500's on mine doing a 58 at the headrest, 59 on the glass one window down. Both at 36hz Team Flex Issues
graham0599
If you wanna do it, then do it! Personally i think 4-6 would be better though. More airspace, battery room, and less crammed. 8 18's is gonna be 40 pounds in a 5 pound bag i think. It is possible, but i personally don't believe the extra money, time, and cone area will be worth it. ALPINE408
I did a build wigh 8 18 inch mayhems.... it did a 158.x. but had loading issues for doing a crazy ass box to try annd make the subs fit everyytime I went over 157 dbs a sub would blow I then switched the box to 6 18 inch mayhems and was able to get to a 162.4 and that made windsheild would go... Steve meade also did an 8 18 mayhem builld for chicken both builds are posted on this site Have you ever had your woofers blown?
baron_of_bass
I don't want to put my foot in my mouth, but I don't think you'll be able to get all those subs in that car in an efficient box. Team Bass-Hz
