A lot more options open up with a 15" vs a 12" such as FI sp4,AA smd<bad ass! Ect.. if your looking for something daily that your going to run 3-4k rms your gonna be looking at a 2500rms+ woofer. Not to mention,since your shooting for the 20-30hz region you want something that will kill the subsonic notes and not something that just "plays them fine". To be honest I think you would be happy with a single zv.4 on 2000-2500rms but its not going to compare to a 3k rms+ sub and 3k+ amp.
