slowfkncar Posted October 28, 2013 Report Share Posted October 28, 2013 160+ with a single kicker l7 is not going to happen, you can probably hit the 150db mark but even at that point you will be trashing subs after every burp,because your gonna have to take that sub 20x past its limits and 1200watts even if its clamped ain't gonna cut it. however with 4 15's and around 8k of power,you might be in the low 150's if you know what you are doing , and to be 10x louder near 160db your going to need near 30-40k rms, and some magical cabin gain.
