IBleedMusick Posted May 1, 2014 Author Report Posted May 1, 2014 Been a long minute since this has been updated but now that the S10 broke it's 60 it's time for the Charger to put up some numbers. So we are going to start this off right I will begin uploading pics in a bit just need to make some sense of them first but the overall goal here is to go after Rob's (Thorshammer) crown. Now most of you are asking how and what and I think I have a pretty good plan in front of me. I have one hell of a team when it comes to building and Rob himself is helping me design and master this. I think it's a trade off since he will be running my amps in a few weeks. Anyway the plan is simple I have 3 pairs of subs sitting in front of me and I have more than enough power laying around to do what I want so the plan will be to start with the current enclosure and test it out on 1 1500.1 2 1500.1 1 2500.1 2 2500.1 1 3500.1 2 3500.1 1 6500.1 2 6500.1 and eventually end it with 4 3500.1's for the daily go hard. The point of testing all of this is to simply show people what a typical 2 12 daily system will do at different power levels. It's mostly to market to my local clientele and to answer any questions about how my amp performs (can't answer questions if I have no real world experience right?). The subs available for this testing are a pair of what would be my prototype 1K series subs built here in Murica by an Asian in Cali (does that make still make the American made?), same goes for the 2.5k series they would ideally be my prototype as well. The last set of subs are a surprise but big ass 4" coil and some other parts that should make it a sex symbol amongst the community. Box is tuned to 40hz subs are stiff as hell need a lot of loosening up before they really get down but out the gate I am very impressed with them. Going to strip it down and fix a few issues this weekend. Seal it off with something Rob taught me and see where I gain.
