carshateme
If that isn't the case (the subs being different coils) it could be the box....one sub could be breathing more efficiencly than the other New build coming soon. ChevyBoy95
if they are different, like dual 2 and a dual 4, then you will see about .7 ohms if you wired them to 1 ohm like you would if they were both dual 4's. check to see if they both read 3.8-4.1 per coil, or in parallel 1.8-2.2 per sub. Overall with 2 dual 4's wired down to 1, you should see .9-1.2 or so. edit: where is the port located, one could be loading differently causing it not to cool as efficiently. pictures? moegej
they are both dual 4's supposedly, havent checked them yet though. ive had them for about 2 months and i have them wired to 4 ohms at the moment. and the box is 3.8cu ft with a 6" aero right in the middle between them. all firing forward into cabin. 06 v6 Mustangbig 3Mechman 270 Hybrid G2 interstate batteriesBC3500 wired at 12 Sundown x-10 D4's
carshateme
If they're 4 ohms...they shouldn't even be getting close to hot... New build coming soon. Wait if their both Dvc-4 ohms, then aren't you wired to either 1ohm or 16ohm. I'm confused on the 4ohm final load. truthsayer
Junior Russell
He has them series and parallel each sub parallel and both subs in series 4ohms/2coils= 2ohmsx2subs=4ohms Make sense? http://www.youtube.c...e1?feature=mheehttp://www.stevemead...87#entry1993187 JVC KD-R530 head unit VVME INNO-D1500 sub amp Kenwood KAC-8402 amplifierPioneer 2-way 6.5 X2 @ 4 ohms DTI Audio 6.5 X2 @ 4 ohmsbox: 4.24 ft^3 tuned to 61 hertz (port walls fell off and dissapeared )

CortezDTV
One is probably out of phase Do a pop test by taking + and - out of the amp and connect straight to ur battery The subs should move out together the same amount, if one moves in or not as much it has a coil out of phase or if it moves the same amount as the other in an opposite direction (inward) that sub is out of phase SCSB Santa Cruz Speaker Box Build logs: Daily Driver Lemon Marquis 2 american bass 750.1s 350.4 on 14 focal 6.5s sq 945 on 4 hertz tweeters Mystery subs http://www.stevemead...__fromsearch__1 The Mustang 'dubbed' Shirley the project from bullet holes to badass http://www.stevemead...cond-skin-time/
