Rockford96
I can tell u to stay away from Rockford prime series. They don't do rated power. I'm not sure about the newer Orion amps. Their old amps were beasts though. Find a sundown, skar, mmats or anything else along those lines and you'll be OK.Lol what are you talking about...Meade tested a prime amp and it did more than rated. didn't it do just over 1k iirc My setup, Digital Designs M80 3 Re audio 10's ported tuned to 36 hz Kenwood x-696 SHCA 0 gauge Polk audio coax running off hu
Jermoslin281
What about the newer Precision Power S850.1D amps. Are they worth a S**t. The rated power and price looks good. I still most likely get the P750.1D anyways. Would love to have the DC 1.2K but I thinks that to much power for a 600RMS sub. If I would have gotten the level 3. The_Iceman
Get a DC 1.2k or something similar and wire at 2 ohms, should be rould 600 watts to the sub then. Jermoslin281
Would like too but sub is a dual 2, so its either 1 or 4 ohm at amp. Yes I want the 1.2K but I think at 1ohm it's too much for level 2.
Dwn4BassAlan
DC 12k (12,000 not 1,200) 0.35 ohms. 17^ft tuned to 12Hz. Bass Boost on max. Gains on max. LPF off. HPF off. 199+dB easily on music. Or if you're stuck in reality, a 1.2k (1,200 lol) couldn't hurt Biomedical/Behavioral Science Major, The (Self-Proclaimed) Undisputed-Homemade-Woofer-King Super-Neodymium-Woofer Build Log: The D4BA-V.2 http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/169236-diy-super-neodymium-woofer-build-log/?p=2475620 Fucking love Alan you goddamned fucking super nerd lol When Alan uses big words I don't understand It's warming up enough that the donut-punching cyclist douchenozzles are getting their two wheeled fagmobiles out. will77530
if you plan on upgradinglater you can get a 1.2 or 2k and wire for a higher impedance now or just grab the rockford they make a quality product and would suit the lvl 2 well
Pioneerchuck
I would personally go bigger to begin with so that I can upgrade later and not have to worry about replacing the amp.
The_Iceman
Wait wait, I'm pretty sure if you are using a single d2 sub you can wire at 2 ohms, hell if you have 2 you can wire at 2 or .5 Am I right or am I slowly losing it?
