scooter99 Posted November 6, 2013 Report Share Posted November 6, 2013 I've had this happen before to me, but it ended up being the amp. Have you tried a new head unit? I think you said you bypassed it, but if you had issues with the remote wire, then it sounds like there was an issue with the unit itself. I'm stumped. I was going to say change the rca's too, but you've done that as well. You've essentially bypassed everything. When you swapped amps, did you hook it back up to the head unit or go straight to the phone. Wondering if the head unit sent a bad signal or something and messed up something in the amps. BOTH amps. Maybe try a 3rd amp, only using the phone as your source and then go from amp's power to remote to turn it on. Bypass the head unit all together. Just a thought.
