Krakin
Looks like a great list of products and I want to see a great 4th built, but I don't really consider (2) X 12's on 3.8Kw that low of power lol. Edit: Good luck on this wanna see some loud low numbers! Krakin's Home Dipole Project http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/186153-krakins-dipole-project-new-reciever-in-rockford-science/#entry2772370 Krakin, are you some sort of mad scientist? I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . . What you hear is not the air pressure variation in itself but what has drawn your attention in the two streams of superimposed air pressure variations at your eardrums An acoustic event has dimensions of Time, Tone, Loudness and Space Everyone learns to render the 3-dimensional localization of sound based on the individual shape of their ears, thus no formula can achieve a definite effect for every listener. CleanSierra
I can't wait to see this dude. Good job taking the reigns like a fucking BOSS man. You have my attention man, great start. Also, those subs will need lots of port, especially in a bandpass. Also, on a side note. I don't believe that Sundown has these Xmax ratings dialed as true one-way linear excursion. I have this feeling because recently a buddy was told the 30MM for his Z series and later found out that one way was actually 23.5MM. This can make a pretty good difference when tuning a cabinet as far as port area goes. Anyway sorry for getting off track, proceed and have fun. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
