cnet15 Posted November 19, 2013 Report Posted November 19, 2013 So i really want to have i nice loud and clean sounding set up in my 01 tahoe. Nothing record breaking or anything just loud and clean. I have two rockford p3 12s in the back and the rockford t365 component speakers in the front doors. Im not happy with the 365s at all. They are labeled "full range" and say they can go down to 30hz but thats crap. They are great with highs but cant handle mids at all. So iwas considering addingthe rockford punch 10" mid range speakers in each doir also. But when it comes to speakers im clueless. Should i invest in some good 3 way speakers like the focal k2 3 way system or will just adding a midrange speaker be fine?

bcbrassard Posted November 19, 2013 Report Posted November 19, 2013 Did you seal and sound deaden your doors? or just replace in factory location. Installation is everything when trying to get the most out of your speakers.
john253a Posted November 20, 2013 Report Posted November 20, 2013 the t3 will play to 120hz no problem with authority, just don't expect much from there down, the will play lower, but there is just no need, check your hfp on the the h/u and amp, you may have it on, if you want full turn it off, idd use the hpf and set to same as lpf on subs
