ti basket compared to 12 spoke

ya when i talked to psi they said 500 ish for a pair with red cones and cf caps. that was the reply when i asked for max power handling on a daily music set up so i figured for 800 ish i can get motors baskets and them built not to bad for what they are i dont think

I picked up an MTX Sw1212 powered subwoofer today. This thing sounds amazing. 130 watts, 12" woofer with a passive 12" woofer tuned to 27 hz. Moving the pictures on the walls and my girl got wet from the bass when i showed her haha. Tonight should be good haha.

my buddy has a pair of destroyers on TI baskets. runs them on his dc 7.5 k all day long. great subs

I use to run a pair of 15in destroyers on Ti baskets...Beast subs you wont be disappointed

im also building my own subs with some z v3 motors.. i was going to get the ti baskets too but psi told me it only had a bit more throw..

    They "could" throw farther.

    In realit most ppl would not notice any difference

Yeah Ti baskets have about 10mm more rear clearance between the spider and top plate on the 12in and 15mm more on 15in and 18.

You benefit more with a Ti basket when using 4in coil motors due to the 10in spiders ....8in spiders and 4in coils don't play well together

Psi told me that a pair couldn't realisticly handle 7k on music they said 2500 rms my goal was a pair on ct sounds 7k but now looks like I'll have to use there 4
