Ok so yesterday my car went crazy on me, i turned it off, took the key out, and the car would still run, only until my toggle switch for my amplifier was turned to off. however when the car was on with the keys in it and i turned the switch off, the bass still remained. i got a new switch, that didnt work, unplugged everything from my amp and plugged it back in, everything went back to normal. now my problem is, without changing any setting on the amplifier, bass level ranges over time and clips at less then half according to the bass knob. before i had it so i could crank it up all the way and bass would remain constant and not clip. can someone help me in diagnosing this problem?????

Amp is blown.

Constant is back feeding to the remote turn on, and you

Have that wired to ignition instead of turn on.

I think you should have a professional do the wiring

For you.

And for a fuse on the kicker 750.

Put a 40amp fuse right in front of the amp.

A friend recently bought a boat with an existing system installed. It has 3-12D2 L7's for a 1.34 ohm load. Powering the subs is a Power Acoustic A3000DB rated at 2300W at 1ohm and 1800W at 2 ohms. I would like to figure out what the true wattage from the amp is.

I do have a DD-1 which I purchased last month and love it. Thank you for your help.

I have an enclosure question. I'm thinking of doing a center console enclosure and I want to fire the sub up. I have a problem with that though. I have a dog who's in my truck alot and she goes from the front seat to the back seat alot. Obviously that's an issue with an up facing sub. I was thinking of doing an enclosure where the sub is counter sunk, well the center portion of the entire enclosure sinks down, and then putting a cover over it to give her somewhere to walk, as well as not impeding the sub. Port will be up facing as well, that would get a steel mesh over it. Do you think the cover would cause much of an issue with performance as long as those sides are open? Here's a quick MS Paint version of my idea. What do you think? Trying to get a 15" sub in there, but if not a 12 for sure.

Thanks, I'd love to hear your thoughts and suggestions on this. It's going in a 1994 Ford F350 Crew cab. Blow through would be sweet but not in the cards just yet. Down the road yes!

Thanks!
